"At length did cross an Albatross: Through the fog it came; As if it had been a Christian soul, We hailed it in God's name. "

Welcome to my Albatross133 website. This is the start of a voyage through a series of websites of mine. A voyage through a life full of different interests, such as books, severe geological and weather phenomena, pop art, militaria, music and of course travel... Everything here, as in the other sites, is relative and helps explain where I'm coming from and where I'm going.

Dedicated to some more personal themes this particular site is precisely about where I come from, where I am at the moment and especially where I'm going, with several pages of photos about places I've visited such Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, Shanghai, Japan, Tunisia and recently Houston.

The voyage starts just below and the idea is not to show you just some more of the usual - not always of good quality - holiday snapshots but to explain that if you go all that way to see such extraordinary sights and live such unusual experiences then you should do more than snap and record... you should also take the time to let your senses absorb and savour the colours, the essences and the exoticness of it all. Sweet smelling scarlet coloured flowers in a tropical garden, hummingbirds - no bigger than bumble bees - flitting less than a metre away, amazing sunsets... and amazing sunrises, haze shimmering over an oasis hiding palm trees, clouds sailing majestically below you through mountain passes! Such are experiences a camera could never capture...you have to go there and live it for real... but in the meantime thanks for stepping in and having a look around and... Enjoy the trip!!!.

....Oh! by the way! Like plains in a multiverse, the pages in my websites evolve to accommodate and relate new experiences so please feel free to come back and wander round...

After this detour the voyage continues with a visit to my Albatross133 LiveSpace page. A sort of blog, with accompagning photos, its more about encounters, impressions and reactions rather than a "What we did" recital.

Enough of travel? A change in matter, unexpected, surprising perhaps even radically opposite - but always assumed, awaits the hardy visitor in my other websites.
